This bottle exhibits John Boyle O’Reilly, a poet and activist who fought for freedom against the British rule in Ireland. His failed ploy known as the ‘Fenian Conspiracy’, resulted in a sentence of 20 years and being exiled to Australia in 1788.
This edition of red wine is packed with berry brilliance. Blackberries, boysenberry and blackcurrants create a rich, jammy taste with notes of vanilla creating a sweet aromatic profile. Delicate mineral and oaky traces sift throughout with a hint of star anise.
