VS stands for ‘Very Special’, crafted from a blend of eaux-de-vie which need to be at least two years old. This classification can also be referred to as ‘Sélection’, ‘De Luxe’ or *** (three stars).

The youngest eaux-de-vie in the blend has to be two years of age, aged in oak barrels, and most VS blends include older eaux-de-vie for a complex taste filled with rich fruity and woody notes.
