A royal blend, the Rémy Martin 1738 Accord Royal Cognac commemorates the decision of King Louis XV of France to grant young Rémy the right to plant new vines on his land with the Accord Royal in 1738.
The cognac is carefully aged in toasted French oak casks to reveal the rich and heady aromas of figs, baking spices, toffee, and toasted bread, served up with a generous helping of plum jam and marmalade flavours, rounded out with the mellowness of butterscotch and a luxurious hint of dark chocolate.
It’s pronounced without being overpowering, with a traditional oaky undertone and an elegant creamy finish. A cognac fit for a king.
Perfect Serve – Serve up a Sidecar. Shake up a shot of Rémy Martin 1738 with a dash of Cointreau, and a squeeze of lemon. Strain and serve in a chilled martini glass with a sugar rim, and garnish with a slice of lemon.
