A trending blend which became an appellation in 2013, Most Wanted Wines presents its first bottle of Picpoul de Pinet, made from Picpoul grapes grown in Languedoc-Roussillon’s Picpoul de Pinet AOC in southwest France, a region which hugs the Mediterranean Sea. Picpoul is a type of grape which translates as ‘lipstinger’, known for its zingy and citrus-heavy flavour profile. When bottled, this provides a refreshing, dry sip with a simple yet elevated flavour of freshly sliced apple, lime zest and white peach. Perfect for hotter weather, Most Wanted’s Picpoul De Pinet is characteristically refreshing and fantastic value. Sounds like something you could sip all summer? This is also available in a case of six. Perfect Pairing – Picpoul De Pinet is often paired with grilled fish and seafood when served up in France, and pairs particularly well with grilled salmon dressed with a squeeze of lime juice.
