Glenfiddich 40 marries a bouquet of luxurious notes, from light apple blossom florals to bitter cocoa to sweet manuka honey to dried fruits, oak and smoke. The unique technique behind Glenfiddich 40 is called remnant vatting. This is a continuous process where remnants from a previous 40-year-old vat is married with finely aged casks hand-selected by Glenfiddich’s Malt Master. Glenfiddich is the only single malt Scotch whisky to use this process, which adds yet another layer of depth to flavour. Each bottle comes presented in an individually numbered bottle protected by hand-crafted calf leather, a leather-bound book with the story of Glenfiddich 40, and its own certificate of authenticity hand-signed by malt master.
