The Glenfiddich Project XX Experimental Series Whisky was an experiment so unique and intriguing that the 20 handpicked whisky experts from 16 countries were not aware that they were part of this historic collaboration. Whisky experts individually selected a rare whisky from the Glenfiddich Distillery in Dufftown, choosing from aged malts matured in European oak sherry casks, to single malts in bourbon casks and small batches matured in ex-wine casks. These handpicked 20 single malts were then melded, blended and vatted by Glenfiddich’s Malt Master, Brian Kinsman. While this could have turned into a cacophony of flavours, the blend resulted in a symphony for the senses.
