Roku adds Sakura blossom, yuzu peel, sencha tea, and sansho pepper to a traditional blend of gin botanicals including juniper, coriander seed and angelica root.

Roku stays true to the Japanese tradition of meticulous attention to detail by distilling each of their 14 botanicals separately, utlising a distinct distillation process to enhance the unique characteristics of each botanical.

The delicate notes of cherry blossom are extracted through vacuum distillation in stainless pot stills, whilst the yuzu, an East Asian citrus fruit, is distilled in copper pot stills designed to enhance its flavour.
