Valentia is a limited release of Montanya, the American craft rum distilled in the mountains of Colorado. A celebration of women in distilling, Valentia is crafted by an all-women crew and aged in barrels from other female-owned distilleries. Aged for four years, you can taste the care and attention-to-detail poured into every sip. This sipping rum is aged in barrels which held local whiskey and finished in a Rye barrel sourced from Catoctin Creek. The resulting sip is aromatic, deep and sweet, heavy on vanilla balanced with spice notes of cardamom and ginger, blended together with white florals and honeysuckle.
