Part of the Glenfiddich Crown Series, Grand Couronne, meaning ‘crown’, is a precious single malt which has been aged for 26 years. This sweet and spicy blend is matured in American oak casks before spending its final two years resting in rare cognac casks crafted from French oak. The layers of creamy coffee, brown sugar and sweet gourmand notes developed during this process has made Grand Couronne the most awarded single malt Scotch whisky in the world. Grand Couronne’s journey begins in the Robbie Dhu spring in Speyside, Scotland, where fresh Highlands water is distilled using traditional copper stills. Having remained in the same family since 1887, generations of knowledge and passion have resulted in this ‘crowning’ blend. Presented in an opulent golden bottle and its own display case, this blend was made for a very special occasion.
