Honouring over 300 years of Caribbean rum crafting, El Dorado’s 12 Year Old Rum uses its original wooden heritage stills to masterfully coax out rich and diverse characters from within the spirit, resulting in rum that is uniquely smooth and complex.
Laid down in oak barrels for at least 12 years, this rum has been blended to perfection using a combination of the Enmore and Diamond Coffey Stills, and the Port Mourant Double Wooden Pot Still.
On those nose you’ll find the flavours of tropical fruit and warm spices, with hints of honey and an undertone of dark sugar, giving you a mellow and well-rounded profile with a delightful dry finish.
Perfect serve: Try a Rum Old Fashioned. Shake up 50ml El Dorado 12 Year Old Rum with a slice of orange and a brown sugar cube soaked in bitters. Strain into a glass of fresh ice and garnish with an orange twist.
