Original, crafted from locally sourced Canadian corn, Aurora, crafted from English wheat, and Onyx, crafted from Blue Weber agave. Crystal Head Vodka is produced in Newfoundland, Canada and was founded by actor Dan Aykroyd and artist John Alexander in 2007. The vodka is made with water from a 10,000-year-old aquifer and is filtered three times through Herkimer diamonds. It’s said that the final product is some of the purest vodkas on the market.
VIP’s Verdict
But what does it actually taste like? We got our hands on a bottle and put it to the test. First off, we were impressed with the sleek design of the bottle. It’s definitely eye-catching and would make for a great conversation piece on your home bar. Crystal Head Vodka offers a clean, clear and colourless spirit. On the nose–neutral grain aromas with a delicate touch of citrus. Silky smooth with a hint of sweetness and vanilla. Ending with a sweet, creamy finish.
