Not too long ago, we gave you the low down on everything White Grape and that was before we had even seen it in the UK.
Fast forward a couple of weeks and already we are cracking through our current stock, the new limited-edition flavour from Ciroc has taken to our very loyal customer base as expected and if you have not tried it yet, we bet you will after reading this.
The first thing to say is the look and feel of the bottle couldn’t scream ‘Christmas’ anymore unless it had some tinsel wrapped around it. Diageo’s Richard Larkin, said: “We are delighted to be launching Cîroc White Grape in the UK as the festive season approaches. As consumers continue to place emphasis on premium experiences and occasions, Cîroc, a brand synonymous with style and celebration, is perfectly placed to meet this demand.”
It is clear that Ciroc will always want to be at the front of mind for consumers in the busiest (and most exciting) part of the year.
But, timing and festivities aside, the key question is always ‘what does it taste like?’ Our original blog spoke of recent flavours such as Summer Watermelon and Black Raspberry bringing a unique but also quite sweet taste and after trying White Grape it is fair to say that the trend continues to march on.
Perhaps it is due to the way Ciroc is produced, or its thorough distillation process but the clean and crisp taste of Ciroc has never been so apparent. Smooth on the way down and sweet on the lips, we expect this to become a big Christmas favourite this year (or as long as Ciroc keeps producing it).
Originally we suggested drinking Ciroc White Grape with tonic water or lemonade but Ciroc’s official cocktail for this spirit is a Kir Royale. You can see the full recipe below
