Today, we celebrate the bornday of one of the biggest rappers of the last two decades, Rick Ross, with a little help from Luc Belaire.
Little over 7 years ago, Luc Belaire first came to be with no immediate intention of becoming the phenomenon it is today, however the sparkling wine brand went from just over 30 searches in 2012 to being one of Wine Searcher’s top searched brands in 2014 with the help of the boss himself.
Rozay is the pure embodiment of what Luc Belaire stands for; luxury, swagger and pure class, served in what is one of the finest black bottles to sit on our (virtual) shelves.
The popular rosé is born in south-eastern France’s Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur region, stretching 150 miles from the French Riviera, Monaco, and the French Alps along the Italian border in the east to the Rhone River valley in the west and the Mediterranean coast to the south.
Grenaches, Cinsault & Syrah grapes help give this sparkling wine its rich, red-fruit taste with an elegant palate of strawberry and blackcurrant. It is dry and refreshing with fine, delicate-yet-persistent bubbles, and an elegant, smooth finish.
Rozay’s affinity with Belaire has been prevalent since 2013 and the bottle has featured in a number of Ross’ music videos, most recently taking centre stage in the ‘Fresh Prince of Belaire’ video (above) with Ross and Dave East going back to back with the iconic black bottles providing the drink of choice for everyone involved.
Following in similar fashion to the likes of Cristal, Armand de Brignac & Courvoisier – Luc Belaire has been adopted by the best of the rap world including Young Thug and Dj Khaled, all of which helped create the infamous Black Bottle Boys crew which now has a network of rap moguls and up-and-comers, showing the extent to which Belaire is enjoyed across the world.
