Togouchi Premium Blended Japanese Whisky 70cl

Produced by the Chugoku Jozo distillery, Togouchi Whisky is subject to an unusual aging process in an environment which yields the characteristic smoothness and balance of Japanese spirits with perfect refinement. Barrels are left to mature deep underground in a passageway that was designed to be a railway tunnel but abandoned before ever being used. Once aged and blended in these temperate conditions, Togouchi is diluted with pure spring water from the Sandankyo Mountains and bottled at 40% ABV. Togouchi Premium Blended Whisky has a rich character with prominent notes of chocolate, peat, and cereals, lifted with a malty sweetness and lingering tail of vanilla and white pepper.
