Pusser’s Gunpowder Proof Spiced Rum takes the brand’s famous British Navy spirit and ages it for three years before a mellow infusion of banana, vanilla, chocolate, cinnamon, and ginger. Impressively full-bodied with a 54.5% ABV.
Pusser’s is a multi-award-winning rum distillery based in Guyana, famous for its rich Admiralty liquors made with 100% authenticity and zero added flavourings or colourings.
The Gunpowder Proof Spiced edition is aged for a minimum of three years in once used charred oak bourbon barrels, imparting a deep copper hue and rounded base notes of wood and smoke.
An infusion of spices prior to bottling brings intensely flavourful fusions of caramelised banana, creamy milk chocolate and vanilla, and a final hint of cinnamon and ginger warmth on a long, full-bodied finish.
Perfect Serve – Pusser’s Gunpowder Proof Spiced Rum is smooth enough for sipping despite the high ABV. Also delicious poured over ice and topped up with a splash of cola or ginger ale.
