The perfect pineapple potion didn’t exist until Plantation Pineapple Stiggin’s Fancy Rum was invented.

Winner of Gold – San Francisco World Spirit Awards 2018

The third collaboration between master distiller Alexandre Gabriel and David Wondrich, this spirit is a part of the Tales of Cocktail collection.

Inspired by the Charles Dickens character, “Reverend Stiggins” from the Pickwick Papers novel. This drink pays homage to his love for “pineapple rum” (we don’t blame him; we love it too!).

Crafted from handpicked Victoria pineapples, this rum is infused with the best-selling Plantation 3 Star Rum and additionally distilled in ferrand copper pot stills. The pineapple chunks are separately soaked in Plantation Original Dark Rum before being added into the extract and blended together.

On the palate, sweet and tropical fruity textures arise with a depth of spices including clove and nutmeg adding an oaky and charred flavour. A soft billow of citrus peel adds the final layer of zesty zing.

You will need:
– 70ml Eager Pineapple Juice
– 45ml of Plantation Pineapple Stiggin’s Fancy Rum
– 1 tbsp of Lime Juice (freshly squeezed)
Giffard Vanilla Syrup
– 4 Ice Cubes
– Lime Wedge (for garnish)

Pour all liquid ingredients into a cocktail shaker and shake thoroughly until the outside of the cup is cold. Strain into a coupe glass over ice and garnish with a fresh lime wedge.
