Among the most popular rye whiskies in the world, Lot 40 is produced with small batch distillation in copper pot stills to capture the very best that this classic spirit has to offer.
Lot 40 Canadian Rye is earthy and fruity on the nose with notes of apple, cinnamon, and burnt toffee. The palate leads with fig and florals before rising into a rich fusion of vanilla, cardamom, coffee, and a hint of charcoal smoke.
Perfect Serve – Lot 40 Whisky has just the right peppery bite for a bold Manhattan cocktail:
- 75ml Lot 40 Canadian Rye Whisky
- 15ml Bianco Vermouth
- 2 dash Angostura Bitters
- 1 maraschino cherry, to garnish
Add all ingredients to a mixing glass with ice and stir well. Strain into a chilled coupe glass and top with a maraschino cherry.
