Komos tequila is the result of a dedication to each step of the tequila process, presented in a unique hand-crafted porcelain bottle. Ripe Jalisco agaves are roasted in stone ovens. This is then twice-distilled in copper stills to craft the spirit’s blanco base. For an ideal Cristalino Anejo, the Blanco tequila is then aged in French oak white wine barrels to give the liquid unique fruity notes not found in other tequilas. The tequila is then dripped through a charcoal column, which helps enhance the flavours within while removing impurities and the colours which come from aging. This leaves the liquid crystal clear while packed with the flavour of a finely aged Anejo. Komos’s unique clay bottle are inspired by ancient wine-making pots used in Ancient Greece.
