Founded in 1865, in the Puerto Rican town of Mercedita. Don Q Rum takes pride in offering a stellar range of rums. This edition of spiced rum is another award-winning example of excellence and we can see why. Aged for a minimum of three years in American White Oak Barrels, this aging process provides the foundation for an exquisite rum. Its rich gold colour comes from the inclusion of caramel, cinnamon and vanilla, giving it that warm spiced finish. A soft billow of coffee adds an earthy essence, rounding off to a full bodied and harmonious spirit. Perfect Serve: We loved a good old punch – especially a Jamaican Rum Punch! You will need: - 150ml of Don Q Oak Barrel Spiced - 200ml Giffard Grenadine - 200ml Orange Juice - 200ml of Pineapple Juice - 4 limes (freshly squeezed) - 4 drops of Angostura Bitters - Orange and lime slices for garnish In a large bowl or pitcher pour in all the liquid ingredients and stir until it becomes a bright orange colour. Add in plenty of crushed ice and serve with the fresh fruit slices for that extra zesty zing.
