Código 1530 Tequila is made solely from agave plants which have reached full maturity after growing for at least seven years. Over three times more agave juice is used to create a bottle of Código than any other brand, providing a quality and intensity of taste that is simply unmatched. Their Reposado expression is rested within French white oak wine barrels from California’s Napa Valley which previously held the Código Rosa Tequila and are charred by hand for the optimum finish. The spirit is typically aged for around six months, but in line with centuries-old customs which value taste over time, it is regularly sampled to monitor the perfect moment for each batch to be bottled. Perfect Serve – The Código Reposado is best enjoyed poured neat into a large tumbler and savoured slowly. For a longer serve, add a small splash of soda water and a squeeze of fresh lime juice.
