Batanga Blanco Tequila 70cl

Batanga Tequila is crafted in the Casa Orendain distillery in the heart of Jalisco, Mexico. It is made with 100% agave harvested from a single estate and a special yeast strain produced at the distillery using a family recipe from over 80 years ago.

Batanga Blanco is an unaged tequila with crisp flavour and a satisfying smoky aftertaste. Vegetal notes of herbs and cucumber combine with earthy agave sweetness and a refreshing hint of mint that blends perfectly in tequila cocktails.

Perfect Serve – This tequila is named after a classic serve of the same name, so it’s well worth trying the traditional Batanga cocktail:

• 50ml Batanga Blanco Tequila
• 100ml cola
• 10ml lime juice, plus extra for garnish
• Pinch of salt, to garnish

Coat the rim of a highball glass in lime juice and cover in salt to create a salted rim. Fill the glass with ice and pour in the tequila, cola and lime juice. Stir thoroughly and serve.
