Cocktails By Order of the Peaky Blinders

The multi-award-winning Peaky Blinder range of fine spirits and liqueurs – created deep in the Black Country by Sadler’s – is a home bar essential for fans of the phenomenally popular show!

Each bottle features a portrait of an original member of the Peaky Blinders gang – or one of their shady associates. However, there are no tricks within the bottles – only a range of premium spirits ‘by order of the Peaky Blinders’.

Sadler's Peaky Blinders

In August 2021, we are offering a free Peaky Blinder hip flask with every bottle from the range (one hip flask per purchase, while stocks last).

Try our Peaky Blinder range with this range of cocktails worthy of the Shelbys…

The Bees Knees

What to pair with spiced gin? How about sweetening (or souring) the deal with sweet runny honey and freshly squeezed lemon juice.

You will need:

50ml Peaky Blinders Spiced Gin
25ml clear blossom honey
25ml freshly squeezed lemon juice

•  Add all ingredients to your cocktail shaker & stir until the honey has dissolved. You don’t want the honey to get stuck to the bottom of the shaker
•  Add ice and give a hard shake to blend your honey and lemon
•  Finally strain through a fine mesh sieve into a coupe glass and garnish with a lemon twist (or a piece of honeycomb for a showstopper.)

Annie’s Spiked Milk

Peaky Blinders Raspberry Rum Cream Liqueur

Dedicated to founding family member and lover of flavour innovation Annie Sadler, this boozy, creamy pour is sweet and pink – but don’t let outside appearances deceive you, with both rum liqueur and vanilla vodka, this is a shake which packs a punch!

You will need:

35ml Peaky Blinder Raspberry Rum Cream Liqueur
25ml Vanilla Vodka
75ml Gold Top Jersey Milk (or Whole Milk)

•  Add all ingredients to your cocktail shaker with a few cubes of ice and shake hard.
•  Strain into a cocktail glass and serve topped with a fresh raspberry.

Mary Peakford

The classic Mary Pickford cocktail with a slight blinders twist. Where the prohibition mainstay uses white rum, the Peakford uses Sadler’s Peaky Blinder Black Spiced Rum – a gold medal winner at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition. With flavours of cinnamon and pineapple, this spicy black rum adds a dark twist to this tropical cocktail.

You will need:

50ml Peaky Blinder Black Spiced Rum
50ml Pineapple Juice
5ml Luxardo Maraschino Liqueur
5ml Grenadine Syrup

•  Add all of your ingredients to a shaker with some ice cubes and shake.
•  Strain through a fine mesh sieve into martini glass.
•  Garnish with a maraschino cherry in the bottom of the glass.

Arthur’s Boilermaker

Named for Arthur Shelby, the muscle of the Peaky Blinders gang, it takes a lot of muscle to handle a boilermaker.

Created in the 1890s and served to miners after their shifts, this version of the whiskey-shot-beer-chaser comes from Ireland with love.

You will need:

1 pint Guinness Stout
1 shot Peaky Blinder Blended Irish Whiskey

Pour yourself a pint and a shot – that’s it! Some add the whiskey to their stout to ‘bomb’ the drink.

Aunt Polly’s Tipsy Coffee

Irish Coffee

An indulgent, creamy take on an Irish coffee using Sadler’s Peaky Blinder Irish Whiskey Liqueur.

You will need:

50ml Peaky Blinder Irish Whiskey Liqueur
1 Tsp Brown Sugar
150ml Freshly Brewed Coffee
2 Tbsp Double Cream

•  Add the whiskey liqueur, coffee and sugar to a heat proof glass and stir to combine all.
•  Use the back of a spoon to float the cream on top of the coffee.
•  Grate some fresh nutmeg over the top for a finishing touch.

Brown Derby

This cocktail adds a citric tartness to the vanilla and toffee notes found in Sadlers’ Peaky Blinder Bourbon whiskey, balanced out with a touch of maple syrup – sounds like it shouldn’t work, but it really does!

You will need:

50ml Peaky Blinder Bourbon Whiskey
25ml Chilled Grapefruit Juice
15ml Maple Syrup

•  Add all ingredients to a shaker with a few ice cubes
•  Give a hard shake, blending the maple syrup
•  Strain into a coup glass or alternatively strain over ice in a rocks glass
•  Garnish with a grapefruit twist
