How to Make a Close Shave Cocktail

The Close Shave embodies what every cocktail should be: elegant, sophisticated, and brilliantly boozy. Perfect for sipping from brunch ‘til dusk, this bubbly treat has an air of Upper East Side glamour that is certain to have you feeling like a member of the Sex and the City glitterati.

Combining all the finer things in life, the Close Shave cocktail is a deceptively simple blend of Vodka, Elderflower Liqueur, and Prosecco. Crisp bubbles and sweet floral flavour expertly balance the slight harshness of vodka, coming together to create a light, refreshing, and satisfying serve.

A designer drink demands designer ingredients, so a bottle of Roberto Cavalli Vodka should be your first choice when selecting the spirit base of a Close Shave. Similarly, St Germain Elderflower Liqueur has both the style and the substance that this recipe deserves. When choosing the bubbly for a Prosecco cocktail, it’s best to opt for a special bottle such as Bottega Gold or Most Wanted Organic Prosecco

Ingredients:

  • 30ml Vodka
  • 45 ml Elderflower Liqueur
  • Prosecco, to top
  • Ice

Method:

  1. Fill a cocktail shaker halfway with ice, add the vodka and liqueur, and shake well
  2. Strain into a chilled Champagne flute and top off with a dash of Prosecco
