Junior Content Writer (2 Roles Available)

VIP Bottles are a growing online retailer and wholesale company based in Leicester, which operates in the spirits and wine sector, sourcing products from around the world. 

We are currently looking for a Junior Content Writer to join our team to help improve our content, organisation wide. 

Role

We are looking for a creative and dynamic Junior Content Writer, who has sound writing skills, experience in SEO and a passion for all things digital.

You will be working as part of an integral, close-knit, and friendly team to support campaigns that drive awareness, engagement, and revenue across the various sales channels.

Working as a Junior Content Writer, you will be supporting SEO campaigns end-to-end, from researching and planning, through to implementation and execution to tracking and reporting.

Requirements
  • Educated to degree level
  • Basic SEO knowledge
  • Ability to conduct effective keyword research and create content based on that research
  • Ability to write SEO-driven, compelling and engaging landing page and blog posts based on keyword research
  • Monitoring and reporting on key campaign KPIs, metrics and results, using tools, such as Google Analytics
  • Desire to work as part of a collaborative and dynamic campaign team
  • Ability to work within a fast-past and reactive environment
  • Excellent spelling and grammar skills
  • Other key skills needed: time management, ability to support other team members, working towards deadlines and ability to schedule and prioritise own workload

Assistant Buyer
Overview

We are currently looking for an Assistant Buyer to join our team to help improve our purchasing supply chain.

Role

As an assistant buyer at VIP Bottles, you will get the opportunity to work directly with the Director of buying in a growing company. Your role will allow you to collaborate with brands directly and see-through projects from an end-to-end perspective. Not only will you be handling the buying aspect but will get a chance to work with the sales team to work on pricing and managing customers yourself.

  • Assist in the purchasing of spirits, champagne, wines and beers
  • Liaise directly with brands on all things from buying to promotional activities
  • Working directly with the current suppliers to get the best prices
  • Reaching out to new suppliers
  • Organising new product samples and tasting sessions
  • Researching new products and their fit for VIP Bottles
  • Running sales reports on products, brands and categories
  • Working closely with the marketing content teams to ensure products are available for online promotional activities
  • Raising purchase orders
  • Assisting the sales team in looking after our account customers
  • Ensuring pricing is always up to date for online and wholesale channels
