You can’t go wrong with a warm hot chocolate to end a frantic day celebrating or entertaining with your friends and family. What if we told you we have come up with a real way of turning that ‘nice’ hot chocolate into something a lot more enjoyable. See below our very own Bumbu Hot Chocolate recipe:
- 25ml of Bumbu Rum
- 1tbsp thick caramel
- 125ml whole milk
- 50g milk chocolate
- Mix together the rum and the caramel and leave to the side
- Pour the milk into a saucepan and warm over medium heat until it starts to simmer. Remove from the heat and add the milk chocolate until it has melted, place the saucepan back on the heat and slowly add the rum mixture until it has fully dissolved.
- Pour into a mug, add some extra marshmallows and enjoy
