Father’s Day is on the 21st of this month (that’s a hint for anybody who didn’t know) and whilst we are still in lockdown it is a little difficult to get out and celebrate. That being said, whether you live with your father figure or want to send your love from afar we have put together the best activities you can stay busy within lockdown this Father’s Day.
A Virtual Party
Since we first went into lockdown, the convenience of apps like Zoom, Skype, Google Hangouts and Facetime became incredibly apparent. Whether you are 15 or 50, almost everyone has access to a computer or phone with a camera and so why not make use of this? Get the drinks, cue the music and have a virtual party with your loved father figure.
We would recommend getting a bottle of their favourite tipple (and a bottle for yourself) and enjoy the day in each other’s company sharing stories and staying connected.
Organise A Family Quiz
Nothing quite says ‘Father’s Day’ like some healthy competition between the family. You can use Zoom or Skype to organise a family quiz. Make it extra interesting and use family knowledge and stories to populate the questions and answers.
Send A Father’s Day Voucher
We may not be able to go and enjoy the outdoors much right now but eventually lockdown will be lifted and we will be able to enjoy our favourite places once again. Why not give your father figure an I.O.U voucher that entitles them to a day at the beach or a meal at their favourite restaurant.
This is guaranteed to keep you in their good books for the entirety of lockdown and gives them something to look forward to once this is all over.

Virtual Distillery Tour
Looking to give an impressive experience to a whisky lover? There are a number of virtual distillery tours taking places all over the world from Macallan to Jack Daniels, you and your father figure can experience some of the world’s most famous and intriguing distilleries all from the comfort of your homes!
There are numerous ways in which you can still create lasting memories with our loved ones in lockdown. If you’re fortunate enough to be staying with your dad then why not have a go at cooking his favourite meal or even watching one of his favourite films.
